Our children grow so quickly, and it is so simple to forget how limited these times are. We, as parents get lost in the day-to-day, and we forget the importance of documenting as much of our children’s smallness as we can. It is so important to take photos of their growing process, because no one ever wants to look back on their gallery and say to themselves, I wish I took more photos. Cake Smash sessions at Nikki’s Clovis, Ca studio are a perfect way to celebrate and remember your child’s first year milestone, as they capture their individual personality and are completely customizable based on what you and your family are looking for.

Our cakes at Nikki Lenae Photography are purchased from the local bakery Frosted Cakery, to ensure that your baby is eating a quality cake, (did we mention that you get to take what is left of your cake home? Given that there is anything left after your baby dives in). Each cake can be presented with different fruit on top, or no fruit at all, to match the theme that you would like to implement into your photoshoot. Also, if your child has any allergies (gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.) Frosted Cakery will customize your cake based on your child’s needs!

Each of our Cake Smash sessions include two guaranteed setups, one of them birthday themed with the cake and one non-birthday setup. Also, if your child is still willing to do a third, we do offer a last setup of your child bathing in our white clawfoot tub, with no extra cost! The bath setups are always so much fun for your baby and yourself, and they capture a hilarious moment for your family to remember forever. 

Cake Smash sessions are such a classic theme for photoshoots, and for good reason. You will always be able to look back on these photos with such fond memories of  your silly one-year old. They are only so small for so long, and achieving their first year of life is definitely something to celebrate.
